You can adjust the screen resolution of your monitor to suite your personal preference. The higher the number of pixels, the more information you can display on your screen, but items will appear smaller. Lower screen resolution makes items appear larger and can benefit people with vision impairments. This tutorial tells you how to adjust your screen resolution. To find the perfect resolution, experiment by adjusting the bar until it suites your needs:
- Go to your "Start" menu
- Select "Control Panel"
- Double click on the "Display" icon
- Click on the "Settings" tab
- Look for "Screen Resolution". To change your resolution slide the bar along to the resolution of your choice and then click the "Apply" button.
- After clicking "Apply" your screen will resize to the new resolution and you will be presented with a confirm dialogue box, if you like the way your screen looks then simply click "Yes", if you would like to try a different resolution click "No".
